EMS are a leading International Moving Company relocating over 4,000 corporate professionals and their families across the globe each year. As an International Move Specialist you will be assigned your own portfolio of corporate customers. You will be responsible for the professional coordination of the owner’s household goods shipment on a door to door basis, managing packing teams, forwarders, overseas partners, storage and 3rd party services. Your primary responsibility is to ensure first class service levels are delivered at each stage of the move process, achieving customer satisfaction, whilst managing the supplier costs attributed to each move. You will be directly aided by a team administrator, pricing analyst and customer service representative, whilst working in a team which will receive both individual and team performance targets.

TEAM Administrator
EMS are a leading International Moving Company relocating over 4,000 corporate professionals and their families across the globe each year. The Team Administrator will work within the operations department of the service centre, shadowing a team of International move specialists. Whilst the position will involve assisting the IMS team with administration, they will learn from a highly experienced team(average IMS 10 + years experience). Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager

Job Description

  • Develop and implement sales and business development opportunities for International Moving within the UK and Europe, this will include cold calling/emails and face to face appointments.
  • Identify and generate immediate new business opportunities
  • Identify and develop leads for RFI / RFP within International moving
  • Work closely with the key management within the business to maximize opportunities
  • To develop relationships with existing clients, ensuring that all company services are used by them at every available opportunity
  • Maintain and update the sales database system to ensure all prospects and clients are contacted in such a way to ensure maximum development of client relationships
  • Account management: Work with a team of International coordinators ensuring company services are delivered to the account’s expectations.
  • Attend events such as conferences/ seminars/ conventions, some of which are out of normal working hours.
  • Attend and participate in training sessions/team meetings
  • Regular contact and visits to clients and potential clients to ensure all possible opportunities are exploited to bring in future business.
  • Regular contact with current clients (either by phone, email, visits) in order to maintain good relationship.
  • Flexible working/Client demands –including early morning, evening appointments and some weekends.

Skills/ Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience required
  • Exceptional Interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (often at short notice)
  • IT literate on Word and excel

Start date:         Immediate

Holiday:           20 days excluding bank holidays. Additional day for each year service up to maximum 25 days per annum

Customer Service Representative

International Surveyor - North East, South East and East London

 International Sales Surveyor

Region:  North East, South East & East London

Job description                           

  • Perform international pre-move surveys. Gathering relevant information including:
    • Accurate volumes for SEA FREIGHT/ AIR FREIGHT/ STORAGE AND LOCAL moving.
    • Provide details on access information at origin and destination (when applicable)
    • General information on what is required for the crew work order to assist with a smooth pack up for any given client.
    • Assess and report back specific needs and requirements of the individual/ family
    • Take detailed inventories of all household goods and personal effects
  • Provide a full report on each survey via email – within 24hrs after survey including relevant photographs
  • Perform follow up’s on competitive surveys with the assignee in conjunction with the international  coordinator
  • Perform Quality Control visits on site for pack ups and unpacks
  • At point of survey – Identify and develop potential leads for the business development manager
  • Work closely with key management within the business to maximize opportunities with competitive business
  • To develop relationships with assignees, ensuring that all company services are used by them at every available opportunity
  • Work with a team of International coordinators ensuring company services are delivered to the assignees expectations as per survey.
  • Flexible working/Client demands –including early morning, evening appointments and some weekends along with long distance travelling.
  • Business acumen; always keep concern for the success of the business and apply methods to improve work performance and protect the financial viability of the company.
  • Project EMS image to all customers and agent parties
  • Maintain close relationships with other members of Operations, Management, Sales and Accounts staff.
  • Demonstrate and apply actions per EMS company policies

Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

  • Ensure all crew paperwork is completed/in order for following working day
  • Issue verbal instructions to each crew foreman before departing the warehouse
  • Supervise handout of materials and ensure ‘Materials Sheets’ are completed for each job
  • Ensure unused materials are returned from jobs and noted on relevant ‘Materials Sheets’
  • Calculate and enter individual costs on the EMS database
  • Foreman / Crew member when required
  • Driver
  • Monitor materials stocks & uniforms levels and reorder as necessary
  • Check jobs In & Out of storage
  • Oversae AIR & LCL SEA freights
  • Measure and weigh jobs
  • Enter accruals onto EMS database & forward ‘Warehouse Receipts’ & ‘Bingo Sheets’ to relevant IMS
  • Calculate AIR Tri-wall costs and accrue against individual jobs on the database
  • Record consignments warehouse location & updating of EMS database
  • Check jobs In/Out of warehouse
  • Ensure all warehouse administration requirements are maintained and updated daily
  • Maintaining Archived filing/storage
  • Supervision of debris disposal
  • General Housekeeping of warehouse & yard area
